Of late Citizens are showing much keenness regarding enrollment of names in voters’ list. Within 4 month nearly 1 lakh voters were added to voters list. The latest draft published till January 15 had 31,59,231 voters in 15 assembly constituencies as against the number of electors as per the draft rolls prepared in October 1, 2012 with 30,46,778 electors.
As per the latest list issued by district election officer, Jubilee Hills has the highest number of voters with 2,29,191, while Charminar assembly constituency has the lowest number of electors after the revision with 1,55,432.
