Hyderabad, April 25: A Division bench of Andhra Pradesh High Court comprising Chief Justice Nisar Ahmed Kakru and Justice Vilas V Afzalpulkar today stayed the single bench judgment on making the Chapter 8 report of Sri Krishna Committee public.
The Division bench had taken up the matter for hearing after the Government of India (Ministry of Home Affairs) has filed a appeal against the judgment of Justice L.Narasimha Reddy for making the Chapter 8 report public within 15 days.
On March 23rd the single bench has passed the judgment directing the Union Home Ministry for making the Chapter 8 report public but the Union Government through its Additional Solicitor General Vivek Tanka has appealed against the judgment and the judgment was stayed this morning.
