Hyderabad: The Cyber Crime Police arrested one more missing accuse for tampering of the GHMC Records and entering fake details in the GHMC database on Tuesday.
Previously three persons were arrested namely Bathala Polaiah, the main accuse and the data entry operator, M.Lakhan singh, also data entry operator and the mediator to bring parties to Polaiah and Khaja Mohiuddin, the beneficiary.The issue came to light when D Rama Bai filed a complaint about the purchased plot from Kotheshwar Rao.
Kotheshwar Roa, 59, a resident of Banjara Hills, accuse was involved in a civil dispute on a land at Gauri Shankar in Banjara Hills along with two others. The cyber Crime police says,“ He got the property by illegally transferring mutations in his name, without any documents, paying 15,000 to the fraudsters and their goons.”
“Kotheshwar Rao is being sent to judicial remand” said Avinash Mohanty, the DCP of Cyber Crime investigation Department .
“The general public is warned against falling prey to such conmen and advised to approach proper officials for mutation of their properties. Even the beneficiaries involved in such illegal acts will not be spared by law. The victims of such fraud, having their property mutations in any other name, can approach the investigation officer for registering their complaints and getting things sorted out” added the DCP, as reported in Deccan Chronicle.
