Hyderabad: The 1969 Vidhyardhi, Yuvajana Sangarshana Samithi convener D. Shankar has demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to fulfill the Metro rail alignment change promise for protecting the Badi Chowdi Sultan Bazaar area.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Shankar criticized the Chief Minister for not honoring his promise of change of metro rail alignment at Sulthan Bazar area. He reminded the Chief Minister that he had assured the Sultan Bazar people that the metro rail alignment would be changed during a public meeting in Sultan Bazar.
The 1969 Vidhyardhi, Yuvajana Sangarshana Samithi co-convener Harith also spoke. He demanded that the government order a probe into the metro rail alignment process by CBI. (NSS)
