Hyderabad: Chandramukhi Muvvala, who went missing on November 27, appeared before the Banjara Hills police with her advocate and friends on Wednesday night.
According to a report of TOI, Banjara Hills inspector said, “Chandramukhi didn’t give details of where she was. She just said that she was under pressure.”
On Tuesday, police found CCTV footage where she is leaving her house. In that footage she was seen leaving her house in hurry and she covered her face with a pink scarf. She left her house at around 8 am.
According to the police, four teams, including Taskforce policemen, were pressed into action to check CCTV footage of main roads connected to the lanes near her house. “We had even sent two teams out of Hyderabad. We were wondering where she could have gone without informing anyone,” said the inspector.
On Wednesday her mother said that the video footage was not clear and also she mentioned that Chandramukhi never wraps a dupatta around her face. She hate wrapping it even around her neck also.
The Telangana Hijra Intersex Transgender Samiti, too, demanded the police to act to trace her.
Members of BLF party and transgender community even staged a protest near Banjara Hill police station, demanding that the police take up the case on priority.
