TDP president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today assured that the party would extend cooperation and help the activists who toiled for the party.
Chandrababu Naidu today took oath as president of central Telugu Desam party committee at party headquarters NTR Bhavan in the presence of newly appointed office-bearers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu said the party was helping the party workers and extending financial assistance of Rs two lakh ex gratia to those who were killed in accidents. The party was giving a helping hand to its workers always. Naidu said it was the TDP that take problems as opportunities. “We are in the Opposition in Telangana as per the wishes of the people and are fighting and trying to resolve problems without any compromise in Andhra Pradesh”, he said.
“We have to respond to people’s problems in the two Telugu States. The newly appointed secretaries of two States of Telangana and AP should submit progress reports once a month. The work has been allotted separately among the centre and the two State committees, he added. Chandrababu Naidu also said Telangana TDP should emerge as a strong party and expressed his desire that the party should capture power in 2019 Assembly elections.
The TDP president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is likely to leave for Delhi on Monday where he will meet various ministers and submit Swacch Bharat report to NITI Ayuog. (NSS)
