TRS MLA K T Rama Rao has alleged that the TDP Chief Chandra Babu Naidu was playing the role of ‘Sikhandi’ in the Assembly.
Talking to the media here on Wednesday, he said while they were insisting on a resolution on the Telangana issue, he charged Chandrababu of diverting the matter, by raising the issue of Bayyaram mines. He questioned why Naidu had not intervened in the Polavaram issue if he had so much affection for the tribals. He also recalled that Chandra Babu Naidu had said that providing 12 percent reservation to the tribals was not possible. He also alleged that the other TDP leaders were following the directions of Naidu in diverting the attention of the house from the Telangana issue. (NSS)
