TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is continuing his “Vastunna Meekosam Padayatra” in the Telangana region, may not attend the two-day session of the Assembly from November 30.
It is learnt that Naidu has decided not to attend the session as it was being called for the specific purpose of discussing the SC, ST sub-plan. As his party has reportedly taken a decision not to move a no-confidence motion in this all important session, he chose to continue his yatra, leaving the Assembly business to his colleagues.
The short session of the Assembly would discuss the sub-plan and nothing else might figure in the House. TDP leaders have also reportedly felt that they could handle the business in the House and that there was no need for Naidu to break his yatra and attend the House.
Party senior leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu has already made it clear that they have decided to thoroughly discuss the sub-plan and suggest amendments, if necessary.
Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Mothkupalli said they would not move no-confidence motion against the government in this session as the House was meeting for the specific purpose of the larger good of the Dalits. TDP leaders have met Naidu in Medak and discussed the strategy to be followed in the session.
