Chandrababu greets people on Sankranti

Marking the dawn of realizing the vision to transform the state into a mega investment and manufacturing hub, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday extended his best wishes to the people in connection with Makara Sankranti. With Rs 4.67 lakh crore investment proposals signed during the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, the Chief Minister said this will direct the Sunrise State towards achieving its vision.

Stating that this Sankranti should be memorable for every Telugu person in the state, the Chief Minister said “My best wishes on Sankranti! May this festival bring joy to all and usher in a happy and healthier tomorrow. The sight of the skies full of colourful kites is a delight. Have a wonderful day with family and friends!”

He said Sankranti is a festival of farmers and the government is at the forefront to make agriculture sustainable and profitable in the years to come. ‘We have also conducted the third phase of Janmabhoomi – Maa Vooru campaign successfully, stressing on rural development’.

“I hope the people will celebrate this festival with rays of joy and hope with their family members and well-wishers,” he said. (NSS)
