Vijayawada: Taking a dig at A P Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao today alleged that the former has given false and misleading information to the national media in Delhi.
Speaking to the media, Narasimha Rao said people knew that Chandrababu Naidu has taken a “U” turn on various occasions and dubbed him as a “U-turn CM”. He also asked as to why the TDP leaders are afraid of when YSRCP leaders met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in connection with the attack on Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam airport. He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was trying to dilute the probe into the case. There were apprehensions that the attack on Jagan was a political conspiracy. It was not important that the attacker belongs to which party and the important question was who inspired him to attack the Leader of the Opposition, the BJP MP said.
Referring to IT raids, Narasimha Rao asked as to why the TDP leaders are worried when they did nothing wrong. The IT raids generally conducted on those who amassed properties evading taxes, he said. Criticizing TDP MP CM Ramesh, Narasimha Rao described him as “Andhra Mallya”. Coming down heavily against Ramesh, the BJP MP alleged that the former’s name also surfaced in the recent CBI corruption case. He accused Ramesh of indulging in middlemen practice. Narasimha Rao said Ramesh, who made a hue and cry on IT raids has disappeared suddenly. What is the reason of his sudden disappearance, he asked.
