TRS Parliament Member, B Suman today accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam national President, N Chandrababu Naidu of getting envious over Telangana Statehood formation day celebrations.
Addressing a press conference TRS Legislature Party office here, Suman suggested Chandrababu to desist from making cheap politics and instead compete in development. He alleged that Chandrababu is provoking the people of AP by his comments that Telangana formation was a dark day. The TRS leader was critical that Naidu could not digest the development programs and welfare schemes in Telangana. It is not right to Chandrababu to make such comments that hurt the sentiments of our state. Naidu, he said, should withdraw such remarks against the Telangana as they come in the way of growth and development he said. The TD leaders in Telangana should think now whether they should continue in the party as Naidu made comments belittling the people of the region he suggested.
Chandrababu failed to focus on his own state and diverting people from the problems by raking up Telangana issue. If he has guts he should compete with Telangana to develop his own state he said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is coming up with innovative schemes for welfare of the people he said. The State government is spending adequate funds for the welfare of common man and deprived classes and implementing flagship programs besides completing irrigation projects, he said. (NSS)
