Union Minister Sujana Chowdhary today said that N Chandrababu Naidu the then Chief Minister of combined state of Andhra Pradesh developed Basara Temple in Adilabad district. He made a visit to the temple along with family members and offered prayers.
Later talking to media persons the union minister alleged that rulers after Naidu regime failed to develop the temple. Chandrababu made efforts to get IIT for Basara and spend funds for the development of the temple and Basara. However the successive governments did not develop Basara or temple he said. Sujana Chowdhary further said that steps are needed to promote Basara further. (NSS)
