Chandrababu deceives NTR again: KTR

Hyderabad: Caretaker Minister KT Rama Rao today alleged that TDP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu “backstabbed” his party founder late NT Rama Rao again by forging an unholy alliance with the Congress for the polls. Naidu turned the TD as a ‘tail’ party to the Congress by doing so and deceived late NTR again.

Speaking at “Hamara Hyderabad” program at N Function Hall at Kukatpally today, KTR slammed Chandrababu for disrespecting the idea and spirit of late NTR to dump the Congress into Bay of Bengal. While late NTR floated the TDP with the sole intention of burying the Congress and to uphold the Telugus’ self-respect, but ungrateful mortgaged the TD to it, he fumed. Tying up with the Congress, which late NTR despised it, Chandrababu has pained his soul. He also alleged power-hungry Naidu had backstabbed NTR by bloodless coup and snatched chief Minister post when the great leader was alive. Now, by aligning with the Congress, Chandrababu “backstabbed” NTR again, he said.

He also took potshots at the Congress for resorting to comments on the law and order and communal harmony in the city. KTR said Hyderabad did not witness even a single incident of caste, community related clashes, conflicts or law and order problem after the TRS government took over. There were no communal clashes as the State is content with brotherhood and amity, he said. Though the people voted for the BJP and the Congress earlier they gave mandate for the TRS in the GHMC polls, he said. Hyderabad did not witness curfew even for four seconds during the last four-and-a-half years, while the city used to see such problem regularly.

Criticizing Chandrababu Naidu for claiming to have built Hyderabad during his nine year rule earlier, KTR sought to know as to why he failed to build Amaravathi capital during the four and half years. In Vijayawada the TD regime was confined to show off only graphics related designs about capital and no work has begun yet, he slammed. Chandrababu was unnecessarily meddling in the Telangana State affairs and politics, who is ought to take care of AP instead, he felt. The Congress forged alliance with others as the Opposition cannot fight the TRS in the polls.
KTR said in the December 7 polls the TRS will emerge victorious as a result AICC president Rahul Gandhi has to play “Veena” presented by Naidu. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu, who tried to create conflicts among Andhras living in Telangana, has to play Fidel, he ridiculed. KTR announced that he would pay attention on providing basic amenities, good roads and remove traffic problems after the polls in Kukatpally area.
