TRS legislator V Srinivas Goud today accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of hatching conspiracies against Telangana State government.
Talking to mediapersons at the Secretariat here, Srinivas Goud warned of another mass movement against Chandrababu government if it indulges in pressure tactics on the Centre to impose Section 8. “We will chalk out a plan of action to take on the might of Chandrababu Naidu if he failed to mend his ways of pressing Centre to impose Section 8 of APRA which offers powers to Governor ESL Narsimhan, he said.
He also alleged that Chaandrababu Naidu was getting jealous of Telangana development and mischievously raking up Section 8 issue. “This section is not required here as the people are living in conducive and peaceful atmosphere for the past one year”, he said. Since there was no incident of attack on the assets of the people, imposition of Section 8 does not arise at all, he stated. Chandrababu Naidu was trying to have supremacy on Hyderabad, which is only a facilitating center for the Andhra Pradesh State for time-being, he said, adding that the AP CM was unnecessarily making a hullabaloo just for escaping from the noose of “Cash-for-Vote” episode and to divert the attention of the people from case against him. “Naidu should stop giving trouble to the TRS Government and admit his complicity in the bribery case, he suggested. “We will stiffly oppose the Centre if it buckles under Naidu’s nefarious designs and pressure tactics”, he added.
