Nawab, is happy to be the inspiration behind Siddiqui’s character. “I saw the film on the first day it was released in Pakistan. And I was very happy with the way Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrayed me in Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” Hindustan Times quoted Nawab as saying.
He also thanked Kabir Khan and Salman Khan for the way Pakistan is portrayed in the movie.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has already collected Rs 102.6 crore in the opening weekend. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and child actress Harshaali Malhotra in pivotal roles.
