Mr. Mohammed Muzaffar Ali Khan TDP incharge of Malakpet Assembly constituency told that some leaders of a local political party are trying to usurp 700 square yards of valuable land of Chanchalguda Jail. He said that such an attempts are made earlier also but after protest such attempts were foiled.
It may be noted that road leading to Chanchalguda jail has been abandoned and a boundary wall has been constructed. The road was diverted towards Meraj Masjid. Local residents were demanding a jail authorities to leave a few yards of land adjacent to jail boundary for Masjid. Jail officials had also agreed for this they had promised the gate would be erected but the leaders of the local political party are trying to usurp this valuable land. They entered into a nexus with the jail authorities and kept quiet when jail officials didn’t leave adjacent to Masjid.
These leaders started making attempts to usurp 700 square yards of land adjacent to Chanchalguda Junior College. He said that a complaint has been lodged in Madannapet police station. He demanded the jail officials to construct a school or a community hall so that the poor residence of the area could perform their marriages there.
