Telangana political JAC chief Prof. Kodandaram has made it clear that despite restrictions or hurdles, the Chalo Assembly programme scheduled for June 14 would go ahead.
Talking to the media here on Saturday, he said they had asked the government to give permission for the programme as per the rules and it was the duty of the government to respond. He warned the government that it would be its own responsibility if there was violence on the occasion. Asking the government to desist from precautionary arrests, he said if the government does it, they would not allow congress MLAs and ministers not to enter the villages. He said despite all the hurdles, the ultimate victory would be for Telangana. He said by intensifying the agitation, they would achieve Telangana even before the elections. (NSS)
