Hyderabad, January 7: Congress leader Mr. Khaleequr Rahman declared R Krishnaiyya as a key member of communal gangs and strongly condemned challenging of 4.5 percent reservation to minorities in the high court.
Mr. Khaleequr Rahman said that the central government by forming Sachar committee brought to light educational and economic issues and backwardness of Muslims in the country and besides this Ranganath Misra commission after reviewing all the minorities recommended 15 percent reservations for minorities of which recommended 10 percent for Muslims and remaining 5 percent to other minorities.
Though there is need to provide 15 percent reservation to minorities however the union cabinet decided to provide 4.5 percent reservation. Instead of welcoming the decision BC welfare association president Mr. R Krishnaiya tried to seek stay order from the court which is deplorable.
