Higher officers of Minority Welfare Department are targeting those who raise questions regarding the performance of the Department. Minority Welfare Department has not only ignored MLC Mr. M S Prabhakar but has also ignored State Minority Commission for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the reason that it is questioning regarding the poor performance of Minority Welfare Department especially regarding the corruption and irregularities prevailed in the Waqf Board, Urdu Academy and Minority Finance Corporation.
Chairman Minority Commission Mr. Abid Rasool Khan is ignored in the government programmes. On this State Minority Commission sent a notice to Secretary Minority Welfare Department asking him why the protocol is being violated by not inviting Minority Commission Chairman in the programmes despite government orders.
Government of Andhra Pradesh has given cabinet status to State Minority Commission and instructions regarding inviting the Chairman to the government programmes are mentioned in GO RT no 2478 dated June 3, 2013.
