Senior leader and former MP Chada Suresh Reddy lashed out at TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao saying that the latter had no interest in achieving Telangana.
Chada said KCR was only interested in money and talks about Telangana movement only when he needed money. Rest of the time he confines himself to his farm house, Chada alleged. Reports said Chada had already talked to Chandrababu Naidu and got his clearance. It is in this context, KCR expelled him from the TRS.
Chada questioned why he was expelled from the party. He charged KCR with sabotaging the Telangana movement. He said Telangana would be possible only through selfless and committed leaders like Prof. Kodandaram.
It may be recalled that there were differences between Kodandaram and KCR. KCR kept himself away from Kodandaram, protesting against his support to the BJP. He even refused to give audience to him when he tried to meet KCR at his farmhouse.
Though KCR patched it up with Kodandaram, the differences are continuing. It is in this contest, the criticism of KCR and praises on Kodandaram by a senior leader like Chada caused interesting debate in political circles.
It was only yesterday that Kodandaram made it clear that the JAC would not be turned into a political platform. As such it is being felt that if Kodandaram was behind the scathing
remarks of Chada. (NSS)
