Chada Flays Centre for Neglect of NREGS

Alleging that the government was trying to water down the NREGS by reducing allotment of funds, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has demanded the government to release Rs.10,000 crore to strengthen NREGS, which was  achieved through struggles of   the Communist parties and peoples organizations.

Participating in the meeting of Indian National Women Federation (INWF) -Telangana State Council’s meeting held at its office in Himayatnagar here on Wednesday, Chada alleged that ther Government has  failed in controlling Dengue fever in the state though  1983 Dengue cases were registered. He asked the government to control  Dengue fever  by setting up special medical camps.

He alleged that the chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who failed to release funds to the loan waiver scheme, was spending crores of rupees on construction of new buildings by demolishing existing Secretariat buildings.  Chada demanded the Andhra Pradesh government to order judicial inquiry into the AOB encounter. The governments were failing to control  violence against the women, he slammed and demanded the governments to release the arrears of fees reimbursement and scholarships.
