CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has demanded the state government to waive off the loans of all farmers by easing guidelines in regard to loan waiver scheme. He also demanded the state government to bear the interest on the loan waiver scheme.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Thursday, Chada said that they came to know that several farmers in Khammam, Warangal and Karimnagar failed to receive loan waiver scheme fruits. He said that many farmers have got notices from the banks that they have to pay interest about Rs.26 lakhs in Kondapur village in Karimnagar district. Chada asked Chief Minister to ease the guidelines and waive off the all amount of the farmers. (NSS
