Old city residents are happy that their children now stay at home during the night time. ‘We are happy that our children stay at home during Ramadan. We had not imagined that our children would spend time before Saher at home,’ this was told by old city residents who were recently called by the police for counselling. On the condition of anonymity they praised police and told that they felt hurt when police called them for counselling however now they feel very happy that their children are arriving home on time and paying attention to home affairs.
It must be recalled that police had launched operation Chabutra which is bearing fruit. Police took action against youth spending time during the night on Chabutras, chaurahas and street corners. Police arrested them and later counselled them by calling their parents.
