Hyderabad: Bazm-e-Kehkashan, an Urdu Club in Hyderabad, organized a ceremony to pay tributes to Abid Ali Khan, the founder of the Siasat Daily.
This ceremony was held on November 12, to commemorate the death anniversary of Abid Ali Khan.
While paying his tributes to Abid Ali Khan, poet Zaheer Nasri said that Khan’s service of journalism is an example for us and we should follow in his foot-steps.
He further said that Khan’s struggle and hardwork for the existence of Urdu language has made the Siasat Daily the most credible newspaper among Urdu lovers.
During the event, prominent leader, Mohammad Mazhar Hussain Shaheed, Javeed Alam engineer, Dr. Sadat Ali, Abdur Rahman, Waheed Shah Qadri, Yusuf Bin Nasir and others also paid tributea to Abid Ali Khan.
The speakers also praised the present editors of The Siasat Daily, Zahid Ali Khan, and Amir Ali Khan and its Managing Editor Zaheer Uddin Ali Khan for their hardwork.
