Hyderabad: Government has decided to extend the term of Chief Executive Officer Waqf Board Mohammed Asadullah and orders will be issued soon in this connection. It must be noted that Mohammed Asadullah’s term expired on October 24. He met Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel and asked about government’s decision regarding his extension or returning services to respective department.
It must be recalled that Mohammed Asadullah had requested the government to relieve him from Waqf Board and return his services to Revenue Department. Secretary Minority Welfare who is also Competent Authority of the Waqf Board is said to have sent the concerned file to Chief Minister.
According to Chief Minister’s Office sources it has been decided to extend Mohammed Asadullah’s term to save Waqf Board from any crisis. No other officer holding the required rank is ready to serve in Waqf Board.
