Centre will maintain Sanat Nagar ESI: Nayini

Hyderabad: A deal between the Centre and the Telangana State Government to maintain ESI hospitals in the State has been reached, according to Home and Labour Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy.
Nayani Narsimha Reddy held a meeting with Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and discussed on the maintenance of ESI hospitals, attached medical college and providing best health services to the workers in the State and Hyderabad. Nayani said the Centre and State have agreed to coordinate to and the former will take responsibility of ESI Hospitals in Sanath Nagar and Nacharam areas in the city.
While the Centre will maintain the Medical College in Sanath Nagar ESI, the State will maintain ESI Hospital in Nacharam. Dattatreya said a 500-bed ESI Hospital will be constructed at Sanatha Nagar Medical College. The Union Minister also said they have plans to offer health services to construction workers from 2017. The Centre was committed to offer the best services to working class across the country and increase facilities in ESI hospital at all levels, he added. (NSS)
