Union minister for commerce and industry Nirmala Sitharaman today asserted that the Centre was committed to fulfill all promises given to Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to mediapersons at Vijayawada party office after participating in party’s formation day, Nirmala said both the BJP and TDP were committed for the development of AP. She expressed hope that Bhimavaram and Visakhapatnam ports would become major centers for carrying out commercial activities.
Earlier, several leaders, including State BJP president and MP K Haribabu paid floral tributes to party’s founder Shyam Prasad Mukherjee by garlanding his patriot. Besides Sitharaman, party leaders, including Krishnamraju and Kavuri Sambasiva Rao were present. (NSS)
