Centre wasting time on T issue: TP JAC

Hyderabad, January 6: The Telangana Political Joint Action Committee Chairman Prof. Kodandaram has alleged that the Central government has wasted one year time in the name of Justice Srikrishna Committee on Telangana issue.

The Telangana Political JAC organized dharna programmes at Mandal Revenue Offices across the region, seeking Central Government to declare Separate Telangana State.

Addressing a gathering at Saroornagar MRO office on Wednesday, Prof Kodandaram said that the Central government was conspiring to bring the problem back to the square one in the name of all Party Meeting in New Delhi. He opined no useful purpose would be served by the meeting called by Union Home Minister Mr Chidambaram with two members from each party. He demanded the Telugu Desam Party not to attend the all party meeting in New Delhi. He also demanded the Central government to declare separate Telangana State without any further committees. He advised all political parties to bring pressure on Central government to introduce the Telangana Bill in the Parliament. He said that they would organize agitations phase- wise in this month and next month. He pointed out the agitation would not stop till the Central government introduced the Separate State Bill in the Parliament.
