Centre summons Guv over ‘Cash for Vote’ issue

With the investigation into the ‘Cash for Vote’ case entering into the second and most crucial phase, the Union Ministry of Home has summoned Governor ESL Narasimhan to New Delhi to discuss the issue.

The Union Home Ministry is likely to get report from the Governor on the status of investigation into the ‘Cash for Vote’ case. He is also likely to be apprised on Centre’s stand on Section-8 of Andha Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

Besides meeting the senior officials of Union Home Minister, Narasimhan is also likely to meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday at 11 AM. He might also meet President of India Pranab Mukherjee. (INN)
