CM of AP spent the busy day yesterday in New Delhi. He met several Central Ministers and Leaders and apprised them of the steps taken by him to resolve energy crisis.
It is said that Central Leaders of Congress advised him to remove the anxiety of the people about the Govt. and also to take necessary steps immediately so that Congress could get back to power in the next general elections.
Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy went to Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi to attend the conference of State Chief Ministers and Chief Justices of the High Courts. He also participated in the joint press conference of Chief Justice of India. On this occasion, he also met the Law Minister, Mr. Ashwani Kumar. Mr. Reddy also contacted Mr. Digvijay Singh. It is said that he apprised Mr. Singh of the functioning of the State Govt.
He also met Mr. Veerappa Moiley and exchanged views on various matters. He called on Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Health Minister and briefed him about the political situation in the state. He apprised him of the steps taken by the State Govt.
It is understood that Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad expressed his contentment on the steps taken by Mr. Reddy. He advised the CM to maintain good contacts will his colleagues in the cabinet and also in Congress party.
Mr. Reddy wanted to seek approval for cabinet reshuffle from the Central leaders but Ms. Sonia Gandhi was not in Delhi yesterday and hence he could not meet her.
