The Central Government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 100 crore for Telangana Minority Residential schools.
Union Minister for Minority Affairs Muqtar Abbas Naqvi on Thursday informed Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali over telephone, that the Centre has sanctioned Rs. 100 Crores for seven Minority Residential Schools. It may be mentioned that during the meeting of Ministers for Minority Affairs held at Chennai on September 23, the Deputy CM had asked Naqvi to release Rs. 1200 crore for 120 Telangana Minority Residential Schools. However, the Centre has partially accepted the Deputy CM’s request. (INN)
