Centre readies anti-naxal plan for Maoists hit states

New Delhi, October 10: The Centre has readied its anti-naxal plan which includes Rs 7,300 crore package for unleashing developmental works in areas cleared off the Left-wing extremists and deployment of nearly 40 thousand para-military personnel.

Home Secretary G K Pillai told reporters that the funds would be disbursed over a span of three years.

He also said that under the current strategy within 30 days of security forces moving in and dominating the area, government would restore civil administration.
