New Delhi: As soon as apex court began hearing pleas seeking court-monitored probe in Rafael deal this morning the BJO ruled Centre government immediately objected to SC’s move.
Centre said that the “matter is for experts to decide on,” and not Supreme Court, NDTV reports.
Attorney General KK Venugopal appearing for Centre asked whether the Supreme Court of India was a competent authority to judicially review the Rafael deal with France.
It may be noted that after opposing Sabarimala verdict, this is the second time Centre has opposed SC’s decision.
