Hyderabad, January 20: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah called all the students and youths against resorting to extreme steps saying that suicides could not be a solution, when the Centre was examining the Telangana issue from all the angles.
Expressing anguish at the suicide committed by Osmania University’s MCA student T Venugopal Reddy, whom the Chief Minsiter referred as “like my grandson”, Mr Rosaiah said he was deeply hurt by, the incident.
He said the Center was examining all the aspects of Telangana and it was an ill-advise for the students and youths to resort such extreme action. He further said suicides were never a solution to any problem, Mr Rosaiah appealed to the students and youths to observe patience and equanimity and added any solution can be only hammered out under a peaceful atmoshpere and through calm and thoughtful discussion.
Mr Rosaiah also expressed his condolence to the family members of Venugopal Reddy.
