Hyderabad, January 31: CPM State secretary BV Raghavulu said that by merely appointing a committee will not be sufficient for carving out Telangana, but the Centre should fix a time-frame for the committee.
Speaking to reporters here Saturday, he found fault with the Centre for delaying the process even after Chidambaram’s first statement. It has been a habit for the Congress to make a statement and postpone the same. Peace would be restored in the State only if the proposed committee on T submits its report within a stipulated time, he felt. He, however, said that there was no change in the CPM’s stand on the issue.
