The Centre has allotted eight candidates of Indian Police Service (IPS) to the state on the basis of the results of the Civil Services Examination, 2010.
The newly allotted IPS candidates to the State are: D. Krishna Bhaskar (Rank 90) of Kerala, Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu (Rank 105) of Andhra Pradesh), Abhishek Mohanty (139) of Odisha, Sanpreet Singh (170) of Punjab, Venkata Appalanaidu Chintam (177) of Andhra Pradesh, Anburajan K.K.N. (260) of Tamil Nadu, Babujee Attada (274) of Andhra Pradesh) and Fakkeerappa Kaginelli (721) of Karnataka). They have been declared as Andhra Pradesh cadre IPS officers. (NSS)
