Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao said that the Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) will visit Andhra Pradesh for an on-the-spot assessment of the situation on the wake of cyclonic storm and floods during the month of November 2015. The team will reach Hyderabad on 8th December.
Two Teams of IMCT will visit flood affected areas in Nellore, Kadapa and Chittoor Districts from 8th to 11th December 2015.
Team-I consists of Styendra Garg, Joint Secretary (North East), Ministry of Home Affairs; A. Krishna Prasad, Regional Officer, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, O/o the Superintending Engineer, Quality, Hyderabad; Manoj Kumar Verma, Deputy Director, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Dept. of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, New Delhi; Venkata Narayana Angina, Research Officer, NITI Aayog, Rural Development, New Delhi, will visit Nellore District from 9th to 11th December.
Team-II consists of S.M. Kolhatkar, Director, Ministry of Agriculture, Directorate of Oil Seed, Crops Division, Hyderabad; Rekha Chauhan, Deputy Secretary (NSAP), Ministry of Rural Development, New Delhi; O.R.K. Reddy, Superintending Engineer, Godavari Circle, CWC, Hyderabad and Hari Mishra, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Expenditure, New Delhi will visit flood affected areas in Chittoor and Kadapa Districts from 9th to 11th December.
The Chief Secretary informed that after completion of the wrap-up meeting with Team Members of IMCT with the Chief Secretary and Secretaries of the Line Departments on 11th December, the team will meet Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada. (INN)
