Hyderabad: A six member Central team deputed to assess the crop loss occurred due to heavy rains in the Telangana state met the Chief Minister on Monday.
The Chief Minister appraised the team about the crop loss and other property damage due to heavy rains in September. The team had visited Sangareddy, Siddipet, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Nizamabad districts to review the crop loss in those districts with the officials. The team also inspected the roads damaged due to heavy rains in Hyderabad with GHMC officials.
KCR is said to have sought a financial aid of Rs. 2,740 crore from the Centre to the Telangana to reimburse for the crop loss and property damage due to heavy rains. (INN)
