A 4-member team of officers of Central Minority Affairs Ministry arrived in Hyderabad on Monday to review Waqf Board split issue. The team will conduct a review meet with officers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Secretary Central Minority Affairs Ministry Dr. Arvind Mayaram, Joint Secretary Rakesh Mohan and Under Secretary Waqf P K Sharma besides Secretary for Minority Welfare will convene meeting on February 18, from 10:30 am to noon. Director Minority Welfare Jalaluddin Akber and Managing Director Minority Finance Corporation Prof. S A Shukoor will attend the meeting. Approval of both the states is a must for distribution of Waqf Board.
