The department of Minority Welfare has sanctioned scholarship of Rs. 3.84 lakh for 15 minority students under central sponsored scheme. In charge Principal Secretary J Raymond Peter issued GO RT 77 in this connection.
The GO stated that the amount has been allotted under planned budget of state government for the financial year 2013-14. This amount has been sanctioned for 15 minority students towards renewal of merit cum means scholarship. This scheme is implemented by Commissionerate Minority Welfare. In the GO it has been appealed to Minority Welfare Commissioner to take necessary steps in this connection.
