Hyderabad, November 13: Center is expected to proclaim its stand on Telangana issue in December. Govt. of India is making preparations for it at all levels. Authentic sources of Congress revealed that the decision of the Congress and the UPA is expected anytime next month. It is hoped that the announcement of T-issue will be made during or after the winter session of the parliament.
Reliable sources quoted that the matters to be declared are being prepared by Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad in consultation with ministry of Home affairs and Congress Core Committee. He is likely to present his report to Ms. Sonia Gandhi which she would finalize after consulting the members of the Core Committee.
The sources informed that the announcement of package and constitution of the second states Reorganization Commission have no relevance with the Congress Committee. Mr. Azad said that Mr. Digvijay Singh & Mr. Rashid Alvi did not consult him before giving their statements. Mr. Azad is in touch with his colleagues in A.P. to get reports of Telangana movement.
