The SR Nagar Crime police today arrested Cell phone pocket picker Pisari Karuna Kumar at Maitrivanam at Ameerpet while he was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During interrogation, the accused revealed his identity as Pisari Karuna Kumar of Subashnagar under S.R. Nagar police limits. He also confessed to have committed a number of cell phones since one year at bus stops at Maitrivanam, S.R.Nagar, Erragadda Rythu Bazar and sold them to Shaik Imran, Mohammad Jameel, Syed Wajeed and Ballola Narsingh. Police said a list of IMEI Nos of the seized cell phones were being sent to IT cell Hyderabad for tracing the owners through Mobile lost application which is being operated by IT Cell, Hyderabad City Police.
The police officials appealed to the cell phone losers to approach Detective Inspector, SR Nagar P. Sateesh (9490616232) and G. Srinivas, DSI (IO) (9490616320) of SR Nagar PS along with IMEI numbers for verification of their lost cell phones. (NSS)
