Mumbai, August 23: Actor Eesha Kopphikar will soon be seen in a movie that stars two other leading ladies Gul Panag and Celina Jaitly. It’s not out of the ordinary to hear of sets on which there is more than one heroine be a volatile one.
And we hear that during the shooting of this movie, Eesha didn’t take an instant liking to Celina. In fact Eesha had worked with Gul previously in Hello and was weary of Celina as she had heard a few unpleasant rumours about her.
Apparently Eesha one day walked up to Celina, who was taking a break from a shot, and took Celina aback by asking her what her problem was!
Eesha confirms, “I was weary of Celina because I didn’t know what sort of a person she was but I had heard that she was snobbish and had an attitude. But I didn’t want to let pre-conceived notions about someone get to me, so I just told her one day that I get scared to even say hi to her,” admits Eesha.
“I told her that she’s like a space cadet – always lost in her own world,” Eesha adds. Of course, after that day all the three ladies got along like a house on fire.
Apart from her upcoming film which deals with the issue of sexual harassment at work, Eesha is also looking forward to a November release of her much delayed film Shabri.
Ask Eesha if she feels that sexual harassment is more prevalent in the glamour industry and she replies in the negative. “I’d say it’s present in every sector of society, across all fields. It’s just that the film industry is more in the spotlight, which is why the infamous casting couch comes under the scanner time and again,” she asserts.
