CD on EAMCET preparation launched

Hyderabad, January 23: Here is a boon for EAMCET aspirants, who were dreaming of securing a top rank and get into either engineering or medicine course. Manabadi.com, an educational portal, in a first of its kind move, launched an EAMCET preparation CD here on Sunday. This would surely enable the students to practise and assess themselves ahead of the entrance test as of now it was just two months away.

Speaking to the media, a partner of Manabadi.com, Mr Kiran Kumar said that they have taken the help of 40 top lecturers in the State over one-and-a-half years to bring out the CD. Speaking about the features of the CD, he said that the CD contains 10,000 questions with explanations and tests covering chapters and sub-chapters of all subjects. Besides, it provides oral tips and explanations and excellent short cut methods by experts. He also said that there were 20 questions in each chapter. If one answers 15 questions correctly, then he has to move over to another chapter. There was a graphical performance report of each test in the CD.

Pointing out the benefits of the CD, he said that one can get guidance from top 40 lecturers on what to read, how to prepare for the entrance test. One can get results within seconds after completing examination and know how much time they spent in answering questions. He also noted that one would be in a position to know his/her strength and weakness in each subject, chapter and sub-chapter after answering the questions.

Mr Kiran said that their aim was to cover 20 per cent of the aspirants and have intended to cover about 60 per cent by 2020. He also noted that they were planning to bring out CDs for all the competitive examinations being held in the State like the AIEEE, Bank POs, RRB, I-CET, C-CET and APPSC.

Mr Kiran Kumar said that the cost of the CD is only Rs 999 and it would be available in all Internet centers in urban areas from February 1. In case of rural areas, he said that, as there was lack of internet penetration like in urban areas, they have adopted some virtual internet centers there and make the CDs available through them. He said that they have intended to establish their virtual internet centers in remote areas all over the State by 2012.
