CCS sleuths arrest another accused in Akbar attack case

Hyderabad, May 19: The sleuths of Central Crime Station (CCS) have arrested yet another accused allegedly involved in the MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case. The police arrested Awad Bin Younus Yafai after he was discharged from the Yashoda Hospital, Malapet.

Awad an accused in the MLA attack case was admitted in the Hospital after he suffered bullet injuries. With this arrest the number of accused arrested has gone upto 14.

According to the sources CCS sleuths have filed a petition before the Metropolitan criminal courts seeking permission for the Test Identification Parade (TIP) of the accused.

However th three persons arrested in the Barkas shoot-out incident complained to the 14th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate that prison officials were not providing proper medical care to them.

Abdullah Bin Omar Yafai, Younus Bin Yafai and Mohammed Bahadur Ali Khan told the magistrate during a video conference on Wednesday that they were suffering from several health problems. They requested the magistrate that they be provided with better treatment, either in a government or private hospital.

The magistrate directed the prison authorities to provide proper medical treatment as per the prison manual.

Abdullah suffered a bullet injury when Jani Miya, gunman of Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Balala, opened fire at him. Younus was suffering from liver and heart ailments. Bahadur complained of slip disc problem.
