Central Crime Station (CCS) has registered a case against ‘City Facility’ which cheated unemployed youth to the tune of several crores of rupees, promising online jobs.
According to information, the company established at the RTC Crossroads had given advertisements promising thousands of rupees for a few hours of online work. Youth, who were attracted towards the opportunity, have paid thousands of rupees as deposits. However, they were aghast when the company simply disappeared.
On a complaint received from the victims, police registered a case and are looking for the promoters.
