AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today said he visited Davos with an intention to attract investments to the State.
Speaking to mediapersons at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Chandrababu said he had met CEOs of various companies and experts in the IT. He exuded confidence that Andhra Pradesh would be gateway of India soon. “We are pursuing the issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh”, he said, adding that the people are with the TDP government on development of new capital for the State. He further said Walmart has come forward to contribute in the development of the State. The company would help increase agricultural production and grant Walmart international brand to the products of DWACRA women groups, he said, adding that a joint venture would be started in e-governance with the support of Wipro.
