CBN cancel Davos trip as KCR intervenes

Hyderabad: TD President and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly cancelled his foreign trip to Davos to attend a world economic forum conference from Jan 22 to 25. Instead Naidu is deputing his son and IT Minister N Lokesh and finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu to Davos conference it is learnt.

Changing political scenario and TRS leadership plan to campaign against the TD and cabinet in next week are probable reasons behind the cancellation of Davos trip it is said. Chandrababu is to participate and address World Economic Forum conference in Davos which is scheduled to be held on Jan 22 to 25. KCR intervention in AP politics followed by former minister Srinivas Yadav recent comments against Naidu followed by Kanaka Durga visit in Vijayawada and TRS getting closure with the opposition YCP and meeting with its Chief and opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on federal front by TRS working president KT Rama Rao are said to be the reasons for Naidu’s Davos trip. Also Naidu is annoyed at the news that KCR will soon make a visit to Amaravathi the capital of AP and will hold discussions with Jaganmohan Reddy on AP politics and also on Federal Front. Also some leaders of other parties are to join the ruling TDP and changing politics might have pressed the chief minister to cancel the foreign trip. Chandrababu is to chair a cabinet meeting on Jan 21 and has to focus on the TD affairs and state politics.
