CBI submits seized evidence in Jagan, Emaar case to HC

Hyderabad, August 24: The Central Bureau of Investigation officials on Tuesday submitted the documentary evidence that it collected in the case disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to the AP High Court.

The evidence that has been submitted included documents and hard disks which were seized during raids conducted at the offices and residence of YSR Congress party president. CBI Superintendent Venkatesh submitted all vital documents and hard discs including those seized during Emaar Properties. The CBI has sought court’s directions to proceed with further investigation into the cases.

Earlier, the officials feed the key documents seized in raids in the computers. Under CBI Joint Director V Laxminarayana the agency scanned all key documents. The CBI listed 32 companies and identified many people involved in the case.

The CBI has set up 8 teams to conduct raids across the nation on Jagan companies and residences following directions from the high court.
