CBI row: Kejriwal raises questions, retweets PM Modi’s 2013 post

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi expressed his views on CBI row. He tweeted, “Is there a co-relation betn Rafale deal and removal of Alok Verma? Was Alok Verma about to start investigations into Rafale, which cud become problem for Modi ji?”.

Kejriwal not only raised questions over Government’s decision in CBI row but also retweeted PM Modi’s 2013 post.

It may be mentioned that in 2013, Narendra Modi had criticized Manmohan Singh Government when CBI officials questioned some of the officials of IB.

On 5th June 2013, Modi had tweeted, “Unfortunate that in its quest to target political opponents, Centre is undermining intelligence systems with CBI questioning IB officials.”

Now, Kejriwal has retweeted Modi’s 2013 post after Central Government sent both Alok Verma and Rakesh Asthana on leave.

Speaking to ANI, the Chief Minister said, “Media has reported that the CBI Director wanted to investigate Rafale Deal. I think that could be the only reason that the Director was transferred at 3 a.m.”
